Upod is shorthand for Under Promise, Over Deliver. That's the spirit in which we choose to work: Get the job done in a way that blows people's minds.
In 2003, Upod started as an online resource for freelancers and it continues to support thousands of writers, editors and independent creators around the world. Upod Academy launched in 2011 as a natural extension to that community. Today, we do it all: write, edit, broadcast, podcast, produce, speak, dream, thrive.
Upod founder David Hochman is a writer, editorial consultant and freelance whisperer. His work appears in The New York Times, Forbes, Salon, Esquire, O: The Oprah Magazine, GQ, Food + Wine, Town & Country, Reader’s Digest, InStyle, Travel + Leisure and many other places.
In his TEDx talk, David shares his vision for freelancing without fear.
